Frederic has been a researcher in hearing sciences for 15+ years. He has worked in five different universities in France, in the US, in the UK, and in Spain. In 2021, he joined WS Audiology and has been contributing to ORCA Labs’ research ever since. 

Frederic’s research interests are three-fold: 1) researching the impact of hearing loss, and potential hearing solutions, for perceiving the paralinguistics aspects of speech (e.g., emotional prosody), 2) developing sensitive outcome measures that can index the benefit of hearing solutions in daily life, and 3) exploring ways hearing devices can contribute to health holistically, beyond their benefit for better hearing.
