IHCON 2026 Looking Beyond Speech Understanding in Noise
At IHCON 2026 in Banff, Canada, ORCA Labs presented the intelligibility-based Repeat-Recall Test (i-RRT), a novel approach to speech-in-noise assessment.
By combining measures of speech recognition, auditory working memory, listening effort, motivation, and semantic context, the i-RRT aims to provide new insights into the communication challenges experienced by people with hearing difficulties.
