ORCA Labs at EFAS 2025
Recently returned from EFAS 2025 conference in Vienna, ORCA Labs shared two interesting studies.
Smeds and Rønne explored “Conversation Success” in group conversations with hearing-impaired participants, showing how hearing aid settings impact communication dynamics in noisy environments.
Another talk by Fischer, Birkl, and Schinkel-Bielefeld introduced ecological momentary assessment (EMA) as a tool to improve hearing aid fittings through real-time user feedback.
